How can I donate books?
Books can be dropped off at our site at 3 Garvey Place in Glen Rock, New Jersey. We can also schedule pick-ups. Please call ReadNow at 201-445-3176, and we will be happy to make arrangements!
Are my donations tax deductible?
All of your donations to ReadNow are tax deductible. Please ask us for a receipt if you need one.
How do I become a reader?
Please call the ReadNowoffice and we will set up an interview. One of our regular ReadNow volunteers will go with you the first time.
We can provide books, or you can bring your favorites. Most volunteers read once a week for about an hour.
How can I become a volunteer?
It's quick and easy to become a volunteer with ReadNow!
Call us at 201-445-3176 to meet with the director, fill out the volunteer form and let us know what you would like to do.
Volunteers are needed for special events such as Bookfest!, book procurement, sorting and shelving, public relations, website maintenance and other administrative tasks.
How can I start a book drive?
Here is one way: contact your child's teacher, and ask if they can help by having each child donate a new or gently-used book to ReadNow. You can call us with the results, or give the teacher the ReadNow phone number, 201-445-3176, to have us do the follow up and pick up the books.
