Welcome to ReadNow!
ReadNow is an all volunteer project designed to bring books to and provide volunteer readers for young children in Bergen and Passaic Counties in New Jersey. Our major target group is pre-school children in and around Paterson, Hackensack, Englewood, Passaic, and Teaneck.
We read weekly to approximately 700 children in 10 day care centers in Paterson, Hackensack, Englewood and Passaic. When possible, we give the children a new book to keep.
We give away books to kids of all ages at our signature event, BookFest! ReadNow also conducts workshops for teen parents on how important it is to read to their children when they are very young. Full Story . .
